Undergraduate Research deadlines are approaching!
If you are (or know) an undergraduate interested in doing research this summer,  and getting paid, don't miss the REU Application deadlines! Some of the deadlines are in early February.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU's) are  National Science Foundation-funded, paid research internships over the summer and many universities in Kentucky and elsewhere are hosting students. KAS has a listing of Kentucky REU opportunities at our website - and if you don't find anything that interests you in Kentucky, follow the link at the bottom of the page to find opportunities elsewhere, searchable by topic! Many REU students present their research at the KAS Annual meeting in the fall, and some even get their name on a publication as a result of the research! Check out the listing and see if summer research could be an option for you.
