Jennifer Meunier and Dr. Michael Bradley Mentorship of the Month

October's Mentorship of the Month goes to Jennifer Meunier and Dr. Michael J. Bradley in parks and recreation. The two became acquainted on a service-learning trip in the summer. Jennifer was curious on how to properly go about conducting a true research project, so Dr. Bradley suggested they embark on a direct impact study, because this was their best option.

The purpose of their study was to conduct economic impact studies of heritage/cultural festivals in rural Kentucky to determine the economic influence as well as community engagement benefits. The duo presented their findings at the Kentucky Research and Parks Administrations Society Annual Conference Presentation in November of 2018.
