Dr. Kelly Watson has been my advisor for Geography & Geospatial techniques for the past several years. She teaches Remote Sensing as well as a variety of Geography courses. She really enjoys working with students one-on-one for research and I am lucky enough to get to work with her on several projects.

Mentorship of the Month: Dr. Judith Jenkins and Kylie Sizemore

I had Dr. Jenkins in my Freshman year for CHE 110 and ASO 100. I had asked her to be my mentor halfway through the semester because she taught the ASO course I took and I felt like I knew her a little better than a random assigned adviser. She agreed and help me plan out my next few semesters.

EKU Students Accepted to Present at NCUR 2017

First Accepted Article of Kentucky Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship

Originally from Massachusetts, Emma T. Comery is currently a senior at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where she is pursuing an English and Spanish double major with a creative writing minor. She has published several poetry and fiction pieces in Centre's Vantage Point literary magazine, of which she is also the Copy Editor.

Mentorship of the Month: Dr. Michael J. Bradley

The EKU Division of Natural Areas would like to announce the availability of student research grants for up to $1,000. The Grant in Aid Program is designed to assist with funding student research at EKU's natural areas: Maywoods Environmental and Educational Laboratory, Lilley Cornett Woods Appalachian Ecological Research Station, and Taylor Fork Ecological Area.
